Observations	Observ. Campo : Guadua.Tree bamboo,growing in colonies.Culmo to 15 m.to8.5 cm.DBH,groenish with gray,enlarged nodes.Branches spiny.Flowering spikelets brownish.Moist soil river bank,grass pasture,cleared lowland forest.Very upeful for construction,fences, etc.Rare here,possibly because of its use.On march 14 various plants in full flower with exserted stamens.Cinchona Division,Foregoing Economic Administration United States Government.
